The ME office did not specify whether Reyes died before his ex-boyfriend, Javier Da Silva , 24, supposedly filled her in the suitcase – or if she choked while she was tied up and trapped inside of the great luggage.
Reyes' body was found in a red suitcase, with hands and feet bound, on the side of the road at Greenwich on February 5.

Da Silva, who recently came to the US from Venezuela, was arrested after that authorities caught him fraudulently using an electronic card owned by Reyes, Greenwich police said.
During the interrogation, Da Silva allegedly admitted his role in murder Reyes, police said.
